FAISALABAD – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced that the naming rights for three of the five Champions Cup teams have been secured by commercial partners, while discussions regarding the naming rights of the remaining two teams are ongoing with potential sponsors.

Nurpur has acquired the naming rights for the Lions, which will now be known as the Nurpur Lions. Allied Bank has secured the rights for the Stallions, renaming them as Allied Bank Stallions. The University of Management and Technology (UMT) will sponsor the Wolves, which has been rebranded as the UMT Markhors.

The details of the sponsors for the Dolphins and Panthers will be announced in due course.

Additionally, five prominent media outlets have partnered with the respective teams: ARY will serve as the media partner for the Stallions, Dunya News for the Panthers, GEO News for the Dolphins, HUM News for the Markhors (formerly Wolves) and Samaa TV for the Lions.

To promote the Champions One-Day Cup from 12 to 29 September, build the brand, provide content, and publicise Pakistan cricket, the PCB will provide live feed to local sports channels, including PTV Sports, A Sports HD, and GEO Super. Live-streaming in Pakistan will be available on Tamasha, Tapmad and myco, while viewers in North America can watch the matches on Willow TV.
