LAHORE – A 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and other parts of Pakistan on Wednesday.
The tremors were felt in Multan, Bhakkar, Rawalpindi, Khanewal, Kamalia, Faisalabad, Mianwali and adjacent cities in the country.
People came out of the houses, offices and other buildings while reciting Kalma Tayyaba.
According to National Seismic Monitoring Centre, Islamabad, the earthquake occurred at 12:28 PM Pakistan Standard Time while its magnitude was recorded at 5.4 on Richter scale. The epicenter was the Near Dera Ghazi Khan (Shadi wala), Punjab in depth of 10 kilometers.
