KARACHI – Popular Pakistani actress Humaima Malik’s lighthearted response to a question regarding Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi’s possible visit to Pakistan has taken social media by storm.

Malik, during an online interview with Indian journalist Faridoon Shahryar, made headlines with her witty reply to a hypothetical scenario involving the popular Bollywood star.

A few days ago, journalist Faridoon  conducted a virtual interview with Humaima Malik and her brother, actor Feroze Khan, where the journalist posed several intriguing questions.

One of the standout moments occurred when Faridoon asked Malik what she would do if Emraan Hashmi were to visit Pakistan. He provided two playful options: either bring him from the airport in a burqa to shield him from female attention or request all women to stay at home.

Humaima Malik, however, didn’t choose either option.

Instead, she quipped, “I would simply tell all the girls that Emraan Hashmi is coming and ask them to go to the airport. He would be happy receiving the attention.”

Elaborating on her response, Malik added that the idea of bringing Hashmi from the airport in a burqa might be worth considering, as he would enjoy the attention.

“Emraan loves his popularity and appreciates it when people gather around him,” she remarked.

Malik also hinted at a potential future interaction with Hashmi, saying, “If Emraan ever joins me on a podcast, I would ask him why he tends to keep to himself so much.”

In the same interview, Malik expressed her desire to work with acclaimed Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a dream collaboration for the actress.

Humaima Malik and Emraan Hashmi previously shared the screen in the 2014 film Raja Natwarlal, where they played the lead roles.
