Senator Qayyum highlights Pakistan’s strength at UK Defence Day event

LONDON – “Pakistan is a strong country of 240 million people who all stand with their Armed Forces which are second to none in their valour, combat worthiness, commitment to national cause of guarding country’s territorial integrity , sovereignty and political independence”  said Senator Lt Gen Abdul Qayyum HI (M) President Pakistan Ex Servicemen Society while celebrating national defence day in the House of Lords UK where he was invited as chief guest.

Lord Qurban Liberal party , Baroness Nosheen Shaheen Nargis Conservative Party , Mr Afzal Khan MP  from Labour Party , Barrister Shehzada Hayat, former Mayer Ch Liaqat and many other members of media and civil society attended.

Gen Abdul Qayyum highlighting the importance of 6 September (defence day) said that on this day our enemy five time bigger our size violating international law, attacked our country to undo it and miserably failed to achieve her nefarious designs leaving behind heaps of dead bodies of their soldiers and hundreds of destroyed tanks both in Lahore and Sialkot sectors.
