ISLAMABAD – Cement prices saw slight drop in Pakistan amid low sales as cost of construction increased after massive taxation.
The prices of key binder recently took a dip after new taxes and higher federal excise duties. Low sales are affecting sectors like mining, transportation, and construction.
The cost of a cement bag comes down by Rs20 per kg. The new price for Rs50 kg cement bag now hovered around fifteen hundred rupees.
BestWay Cement is priced between Rs. 1,530 and Rs. 1,550 per bag, while Pakcem and DG Khan Cement are slightly lower, ranging from Rs. 1,520 to Rs. 1,530. Fauji Cement falls within Rs. 1,510 to Rs. 1,520 range. Lucky Cement and Cherat Cement priced between Rs. 1,515 and Rs. 1,525. Maple Leaf Cement matches Pakcem and DG Khan Cement at Rs. 1,520 to Rs. 1,530. Askari Cement, and Pioneer Cement are similarly priced at Rs. 1,510 to Rs. 1,520 per bag.
Paidar Cement is a bit lower, ranging from Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 1,510, while Falcon Cement is available for Rs. 1,495 to Rs. 1,505. The most affordable option is Flying Pakistan Cement, priced between Rs. 1,485 and Rs. 1,500 per bag.
