LDA clears encroachments from Pine Avenue, Adda Plot

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against permanent/temporary encroachments on service roads, designated parking spaces and illegal billboards in Lahore.

On Wednesday, the LDA enforcement teams removed temporary/permanent encroachments, sheds, construction materials and debris from roadsides and greenbelts during operations on Pine Avenue, Adda Plot and surroundings.

LDA’s Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) removed illegal billboards and signboards in the area.

LDA Director Town Planning Zone-II Azhar Ali and TEPA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed supervised the operation which was carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police and heavy machinery. Per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before the operations.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq directed continuing indiscriminate operations against encroachments and violation of building bylaws in Lahore.
