Petrol Price in Pakistan – Expected Petrol, Diesel Rates from September 1

Another relief for inflation-hit Pakistanis is on cards as the price of Petrol, and Diesel will be cut by up to Rs6 per litre for the first half of September 2024.

The federal government will pass on relief for people amid a plunge in global crude oil rates. Pakistan Observer has learnt that prices for petrol and high-speed diesel will move down by Rs6 per litre, after $2 to $2.30 per barrel decline in crude oil in the international market.

There is no official confirmation from the federal government and Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) who will review prices on August 31 and present a proposal for final nod.

As of late August, the price of petrol stands at Rs260.96 and HSD at Rs266.07 per litre after government slashed price by Rs8.47 ahead of Independence Day.
