Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned terrorists’ attack on 23 travellers in Musakhel, saying that “It is an attack on us.”
The Interior Minister unveiled that all these attacks in Balochistan at the same time were preplanned.
“We know very well who are behind these terrorists’ attacks. Whoever is supporting these terrorists are terrorists, and the whole leadership of the country has decided to give befitting response to them,” said Mohsin Naqvi while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Monday.
The press conference took place after 23 travellers from Punjab were brutally killed in Balochistan’s Musakhail area. The terrorists offloaded the travellers from the buses and trucks and shot them dead on the spot.
The minister said that they are in contact with the Balochistan government and they would provide them everything they needed.
“The terrorists have many plans. But our security forces including Levies and police foiled them,” claimed Moshin Naqvi.
The Interior Minister said that Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti was making a strategy to tackle such attacks and terrorists’ activities.
“CM Bugti is in contact with me and other heads of the security,” said Naqvi, adding that the strategy of CM Bugti would yield results in the coming days.
He said that CM Sarfraz Bugti is right, saying that all those who carried out the attacks are terrorists.
However, he pointed out that they would try to soothe all those who are angry. During his press conference, he also referred to many incidents that took place including the attack on Assistant Commissioner Kalat.
Responding to a question about India’s role in Balochistan, the interior minister said that there are certain elements who wanted instability in the country.
