Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has claimed that both the Aleema Group and the Bushra Group are vying to take control of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, which he referred to as ‘Tehreek-e-Inteshar’ (Movement of Anarchy).

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, Tarar accused the party of engaging in politics that harm the country, adding that the PTI is now itself a victim of internal discord.

“Tehreek-e-Inteshar has always indulged in propaganda against state institutions and has never shied away from damaging the national interest,” Tarar said. He criticised the party’s founding chairman, Imran Khan, for laying the foundation of divisive politics, which he claimed has resulted in societal rifts and conflicts among people.

“Today, the PTI is facing disintegration and chaos within its own ranks,” he added.

Tarar emphasised that the politics of hatred does not end well. He mentioned that Aleema Khan had told Raoof Hasan that Bushra Bibi was spreading false information.

“Bushra Bibi is propagating a narrative of lies and seeking sympathy through fake stories,” Tarar alleged.

He said the PTI is now divided into various factions, with multiple disinformation cells in operation. “One disinformation cell was run by Raoof Hasan in collaboration with Aleema Khan, while another was managed by Bushra Bibi,” he claimed.

“Those who have caused divisions among people are now witnessing divisions within their own party,” Tarar said, referring to the alleged rift between the Aleema and Bushra groups. He accused Bushra Bibi of creating a false narrative, insisting that there is no truth in her claims.
“The very people who have thrived on politics of hatred and division are now facing disarray within their own party,” Tarar remarked.
He concluded by suggesting that attempts to harm the country for political gain are ongoing.
Meanwhile, Aleema Khan, sister of former PM Imran Khan and PTI leader Raoof Hasan’s WhatsApp messages regarding former first lady Bushra Bibi have been leaked.

According to security sources, the messages revealed Aleema Khan asking Raoof Hasan to stop spreading Bushra Bibi’s message which mentions a meeting with Imran Khan in jail, as it will incite the disinformation cell.

Sources said that Aleema Khan called the message “foolish” and urged Raoof Hasan not to share it further.
The message allegedly from Bushra Bibi had claimed that she was not allowed to meet the founder of PTI alone in jail and that the jailer was pressurized to beat the former Prime Minister.

The message also mentioned a conversation between the founder of PTI and the jailer. In the leaked WhatsApp message, Aleema Khan denied that the founder of PTI made any such statement and asks Raoof Hasan not to spread the message.
