Punjab CM visits policemen injured in Kacha area bandits’ attack

RAHIM YAR KHAN –  Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Saturday visited the Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Rahim Yar Khan to inquire after the police officials who got injured in recent launcher attack by the bandits in the Kacha area.

During her visit, CM Maryam Nawaz encouraged the injured police officers and prayed for the recovery of Wasim Arshad, Bilal, Farooq, Nabeel Shehzad, Zahid, Saeed and Muhammad Ayub.

She also met with the injured officers’ parents and families, and addressed the hospital doctors and staff. The CM directed the hospital staff and other officials to address their issues.

She also talked to the injured constable Bilal and lauded his determination, saying that their morale is high and they would continue to fight against those who disrupted the peace.

The CM also praised Bilal for his bravery and considered him a source of pride.

Maraym Nawaz said that the police are like brothers and sons to her, and she viewed their sufferings as her own. She vowed that the perpetrators of the attack would not be spared.

Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Special Assistant Rashid Nasrullah, Additional IGPs, police officials and administrative authorities also accompanied the Punjab chief minister during her visit.
