Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has responded to a recent statement by Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem, asserting that Hafiz Naeem lacks understanding of the significance and sanctity of Sindhi language and culture. Shah emphasized that Sindhi terms like “Wadero” are integral to the region, referring to heads of households and villages, and suggested that Hafiz Naeem should learn Sindhi to grasp these cultural nuances.

“Our leadership has always prioritized the underprivileged of the country,” Nasir Hussain Shah remarked, adding that the ideology of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is centered on securing the rights of the people and the safety of the nation.

He stressed that PPP’s politics are focused on serving both the people and the state. Nasir Shah further stated that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has never engaged in the politics of hatred, reiterating that the party believes in unity, rejecting sectarian and linguistic divisions.  Provincial Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah also highlighted the sacrifices made by the party’s leaders and supporters in the name of democracy. Taking a stance, Shah noted that it was PPP that supported the struggle for Pakistan’s independence from the British, whereas Jamaat-e-Islami and its leadership have consistently opposed democracy and the progress and prosperity of the Pakistani people.
