Sarwar pledges to continue working for rule of law

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday pledged to continue working for the rule of law, poverty alleviation, quality education, health and provision of clean drinking water tor every citizen.
The governor, in an interview with a private news channel, said collective efforts were needed to ensure jobs, clean drinking water and rule of law in the country.
“We will try hard to fulfill the dream of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” he added.
Chaudhry Sarwar said the entire nation had worked unitedly to steer the country out of many crises in the past. Likewise, the people belonging to all segments of society should come forward and make joint efforts for the progress, prosperity and development of Pakistan, he added.
The governor’s wife, Begum Perveen Sarwar while talking to the news channel, said “We should be proud to be a Pakistani and prefer to use Pakistan-made products.”—APP
