Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah stated that his government is focused on providing long-term relief for the public rather than temporary fixes. He criticized provinces offering short-term electricity relief for two months, questioning their ability to handle the resulting burden in the third month when bills would double. Shah emphasized that, under the guidance of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and President Asif Ali Zardari, the Sindh government aims to develop sustainable solutions for the public’s benefit.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah added that they are not in favor of wasting resources on short-term improvements that fail to address the root of the problems. “We do not want to create chaos and then throw money into temporary fixes,” Shah said. The Chief Minister also pointed out the inconsistency in resource allocation, saying that while funds were unavailable for development projects, money was suddenly found to offer relief to certain provinces.
