KARACHI – Pakistan’s financial hub Karachi witnessed another shameful incident of sexual harassment, as a woman was groped by a man whose act was captured on CCTV.
The shameful incident was reported from New Muslim, showing a man riding a bike with a child and he grabbed a veiled woman, who was walking on the street alone.
It occurred on August 12, and the video of the incident triggered outrage while police failed to nab the culprit, who is still at large despite being filmed. The brave woman kept her composure despite being groped and she can be seen moving forward, asking for help while man on the bike flees.
Karachi Woman Harassment
This incident is latest in a series, as Karachi has seen four reported cases of harassment against women. Previously, two of these incidents occurred in North Karachi and one in Pak Colony.
Authorities are under increasing pressure to address these safety concerns and ensure swift action to protect women from such harassment.
