Do not lose hope; Future of Pakistan is bright: Chairman PEC

Engr. NajeebHaroon, Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), addressed an audience of over 900 engineers at a conference in Karachi, delivering an encouraging message to the youth. Haroon spoke about the promising future of Pakistan despite the current challenges, highlighting significant achievements by PEC over the past three years.

He particularly noted advancements in digitalization and IT reforms, with the successful implementation of the PEC E-Gateway standing out as a key milestone. A major highlight of PEC’s recent initiatives is the Graduate Internship Training (GIT) program, which for the first time in PEC’s history, has offered paid internships to over 4,500 engineers. This initiative aims to provide practical training and enhance job readiness for fresh graduates, showcasing PEC’s commitment to fostering the professional development of the engineering community.

Haroon’s message of optimism and progress was well-received, resonating strongly with the assembled engineers and reinforcing the belief in a bright future for Pakistan.
