LDA starts online submission, approval of residential building plans

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority has started the online submission and approval process for residential building plans.

The LDA Citizen Facilitation Center (One Window Cell) has received 12 plans online from private schemes. The challans for these submitted plans have been issued while the processing will also be done online.

LDA Director General Tahir Farooq reviewed the process of receiving building plans online at the E-Khidmat Center. Chief Town Planner II Azhar Ali and Chief Town Planner I Asad Uz Zaman briefed the DG about the whole process.

Tahir Farooq emphasized to minimize the time taken for the approval of residential building plans. He said that LDA will encourage online submission and approval of building plans as the old system will soon be discontinued. He also reviewed the daily applications received at the Citizen Facilitation Center and inquired about the concerns of an overseas Pakistani there.
