ISLAMABAD – President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the conferment of prestigious awards on 104 Pakistani and foreign nationals in recognition of their outstanding services to Pakistan.
The awards would be presented at a special ceremony on March 23, 2025, according to an official statement issued by the Presidency.
Late Prime Minister Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto would be posthumously awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan, the country’s highest civil award, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to Pakistan.
In the field of sports, javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem would receive Hilal-e-Imtiaz while mountaineer Murad Sadpara would be honored with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
