Scattered rains predicted in Karachi, coastal areas of Sindh

KARACHI – More scattered rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday.

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea penetrate central/southern parts of Pakistan.

Under these weather conditions, partly cloudy weather with light rain is predicted in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday.

Rain-wind/thundershowers are also likely at isolated places in Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad and Dadu on Monday night.

Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 31-33°C on Tuesday and 30-32°C on Wednesday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 37-39°C on Tuesday and 39-41°C on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, light rain occurred in Karachi and parts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Dadu and Mohenjo-Daro remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C. The maximum temperature in Sukkur and Nawabshah was recorded at 37°C.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 78 per cent.

In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 65 per cent.
