LWMC using all resources for clean environment: MD

On the directions of LWMC managing director, the department is providing extraordinary cleanliness services inside and outside quarantine centres at Kala Shah Kaku and Expo Centre.
The MD stated the department is on the front line fighting against coronavirus by providing exceptional cleanliness services to the citizens of Lahore.
It was added by him that department is timely lifting waste from every nook and corner of the city followed by special washing with the disinfectant of major and minor roads, footpaths, bus stops and hospitals of the city.
LWMC also distributed soaps among workers to ensure their safety against coronavirus.
He directed that all workers must wash their hands regularly as workers are the asset of the organization and the department cannot compromise over their health.
The LWMC spokesperson stated that the department is using all possible and available resources to provide a clean environment to the citizens and the efforts of LWMC against coronavirus are tangible visible, the citizens on other hand must cooperate with the department by proper disposal of solid waste in provided bins.
He also stated that department is resolving all public complaints concerning solid waste on priority and citizens can dial LWMC helpline 1139 or can use mobile-based application clean Lahore for their complaint registration.
