Shaheed Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood’s funeral prayers offered

PESHAWAR – Namaz-e-Janaza of Shaheed Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik was offered at Peshawar Garrison on Sunday.

Corps Commander Peshawar, relatives of the martyr, and a large number of military and civil officials attended the funeral prayers. The martyr will be laid to rest in his ancestral town with military honours.

24-year-old Uzair Malik, a resident of Attock, was critically wounded while fighting with bravery against terrorists in Bagh, district Khyber on August 09. He was shifted to CMH Peshawar where he succumbed to the injuries on Sunday.
