KARACHI – The government of Sindh has announced free tablets for school and colleges students as these gadgets are replacing traditional textbooks due to their portability, ease of updating content, and customization options.

Imagine excitement for Sindh school students who are receiving free tablets as new initiative opens up a world of possibilities for learning and creativity for juniors. With latest tablets, school-going students can access all apps, online resources, and lessons that make learning more engaging and effective – especially in these times when buying books also become expensive.

Sindh Free Tablets for Students

In first phase, students of Class 9, 10 and Intermediate Part I and II will receive free tablets to ensure uninterrupted studies, Sindh Text Book Board Chairman announced.

He said the government is taking new initiatives to avoid delays or shortages of books, assuring students to get education continues without any disruption.

The officials said senior senior students will get tablets in first phase as officials are making Sindh paperless, aligning with modern global trends. The final decision will be made by Chief Minister of Sindh, and upon approval, the plan will be officially implemented.

For this year, the provincial government is distributing over 2.5 crores books in 30 districts of Sindh. The first phase started on July 30, with the second phase scheduled to start on August 15.
