SBP notifies bank holiday on August 14

KARACHI – The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), its regional offices, public sector, private banks and financial institutions will remain closed on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, being a public holiday on the occasion of ‘Independence Day’ as declared by the Government of Pakistan.

As per the press release issued by the SBP on Thursday, banks will resume working on Thursday, August 15.
