ISLAMABAD – A case was registered against a man for allegedly sexually harassing the daughter of a high-profile figure at the Islamabad Club.
Reports said the incident took place on August 3 at the place, which is visited by senior bureaucrats and other prominent persons of the society.
The suspect, identified as Wasif Kareem, was visiting the Islamabad Club as a guest of the Raja Masood when he allegedly made sexual advances towards the 18-year-old girl in the family hall of the club.
The First Information Report, which was registered on a complaint by the family, states that the incident caused severe mental trauma to victim.
After registering the case, police have launched an investigation into the matter. It is yet to be known whether the suspect has been arrested.
The suspect, Wasif, is said to be an employee of the private mobile phone company.
