LAHORE – The University of Punjab has announced admissions  for undergraduate (first and fifth semester) programs from academic year 2024-25.

The university has offered programs in morning, evening, replica, afternoon and self-supporting categories.

The university in the notice said online admission forms will be accepted, adding that the Online Admission Forms for the Academic Year 2024-25 are available at: http://admissions.pu.edu.pk or http://111.68.103.22/admissions.

“For BS 1st Semester, the candidates will be given 25% weightage of PU Admission Test result, Except for Undergraduate Engineering Programs where the Weightage will be 33%”.

Eligibility Criteria

To get admissions, aspirants are required to meet the eligibility criteria. You can check detailed criteria for admissions in undergraduate programs below:

Merit List for Undergraduate Programs

The university will issue first merit list on August 12 for regular programs while it will be issued on August 19 for self-supporting and replica programs.

The second merit list will be issued on August 18 for regular programs while it will be issued on August 23 for self-supporting and replica programs.

Third merit list will be released on Aug 21 for regular programs and for self-supporting, it will be issued on Aug 28.

The university has also launched the Basic Criteria Merit Calculator for applicants so they can easily evaluate that if they are eligible for admissions.

Here, you need to enter entry test marks, Matric or Level marks, Intermediate marks or any other additional marks.

Note:Please note that this is just a basic merit calculator other than Engineering Department admission. The exact merit will be calculated by the concerned department after certain additions/subtractions before display of merit lists.
