Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) has announced plans to celebrate Independence Day with grandeur and will hold district-level workers’ conventions across Sindh soon after August 14.

This decision was made at a meeting chaired by GDA Chief Coordinator Syed Sadruddin Shah Rashdi. The meeting was attended by prominent GDA leaders including Dr. Safdar Ali Abbasi, Sardar Abdul Raheem, and ZahidZaidi from GDA London. It was decided that the Independence Day on August 14 will be celebrated in a magnificent manner, and following the holiday, district headquarters across Sindh will host workers’ conventions to complete the organizational setup of the GDA.

The meeting expressed deep concern over the current political and economic situation in the country, particularly in Sindh. Participants highlighted issues such as deteriorating law and order, soaring inflation, and the mental strain caused by rising electricity bills. The GDA has called for an immediate reduction in electricity prices and measures to control inflation.
