NTMC, which works under the Ministry of Home Affairs, was responsible for monitoring national situations, collecting data, and recording communication. Maj Gen Ahsan was also responsible for his role in oppression agains the citizens. He has been replaced by Major General Ridwan Rahman who took charge as new Director General of the NTMC.

In fresh leadership changes, Lieutenant General Saif ul Alam has been appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Lieutenant General Mujeebur Rahman will lead the Army Training and Doctrine Command.

On the other hand, India relocated former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wazed to a secret location as she seeks asylum in Britain. This move follows violent protests in Bangladesh, where students have demanded her resignation.

After her resignation, celebrations broke out among protesters. Bangladeshi Army Chief announced a transitional government, but student leaders rejected it, calling for a government led by Dr. Yunus.
