RAWALPINDI – The city district administration of Rawalpindi imposed a fine of a leading Cinema and two food outlets located in Jinnah Park after authorities found dengue mosquito larvae.
A team of the administration conducted inspection at Cinepax, Pappasallis, and KFC, when they found the larvae there.
Authorities imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on Cinepax while Rs150,000 fine was imposed on both outlets each, local media reported.
The cinema was sealed instantly by the city administration team by stopping the ongoing movie session midway. However, it was reopened after the cinema authorities paid the fine.
All the three businesses have been instructed to adhere to the SOPs to eliminate dengue larvae.
