The Sindh Food Authority has identified 22 brands of mineral water as unsafe for human consumption. Director General MuzamilHussainHalepoto emphasized the authority’s commitment to public health, stating, “No one will be allowed to play with people’s health.” The declaration follows rigorous testing and quality checks, ensuring that only safe products are available in the market. The authority urges consumers to remain vigilant and report any concerns regarding food and beverage safety. These brands are Fiji, BRO -H 20, Koh Noor, Rayaal Silver, Smart, Aqua Qismat, Asha Premium, Drinking Water, Buxton, Cliff Water, Health Drinking Water, Crystal Pure Life, Dream Pure, Neo Health Drinking Water, Oriel, Faraz Water, Premium Safa, Pure Refined Water, Smart Indus Pure Water, Splash Water, Still, Starlite Water, Vivo Water Plus Premium Drinking and Masafi. Director General Sindh Food Authority MuzamilHussainHalepoto has directed the management of the said mineral water to withdraw their products from the market within seven days. He said that action would be taken under the Sindh Food Authority Act against those who didn’t follow the orders of Sindh Food Authority.
