LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences has approved a new policy for Postgraduate Programs.

The policy was approved at the 204th meeting of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) held on Thursday with Vice-Chancellor Professor Ahsan Waheed Rathore in the chair. The board also approved awarding PhD degrees to three students in different fields of medical sciences.

Under this policy, any postgraduate program, including PhDs, involving foreign training or fellowships, must receive initial approval from the ASRB. UHS will enter into collaborative agreements with foreign universities on behalf of the students, who can then proceed with their fellowship abroad.

The board considered 36 reports on theses and synopses of 39 students for registration to various postgraduate courses.
