Interior Minister assures full cooperation for maintenance of law, order in KP

ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday assured full cooperation for maintenance of law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Talking to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad, he said the province’s police, FC and CTD are being equipped with latest technology and weapons.

Recognizing the sacrifices rendered by the law enforcement agencies in the war on terrorism, Mohsin Naqvi said success is the only option in the war against the menace.

The Interior Minister expressed the commitment to eliminate terrorism with the support of the nation.

Earlier in the day, in a separate development, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi called on international community to make efforts to combat human traffickers as they play with the lives of thousands in pursuit of greed.

In his message on World Day Against Human Trafficking, Mohsin Naqvi said unemployment, poverty, and unequal distribution of wealth has contributed to an increase in human trafficking.

He appreciated Federal Investigation Agency for remaining vigilant and bringing many human traffickers to justice.
