SFA intensifies crackdown on adulterated, hazardous milk sellers

Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has ramped up operations across the province against sellers of adulterated and hazardous milk under the directives of Director General MuzammilHussainHalipoto. Teams from the SFA conducted checks on milk-carrying vehicles at Karachi Toll Plaza and inspected milk shops in major cities including Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Larkana. Overall, more than 200,000 liters of milk were tested throughout the province. The authority inspected over 150 large milk shops and immediately disposed of 11,570 liters of hazardous milk. Additionally, fines exceeding 1.9 million rupees were imposed on those found selling adulterated and harmful milk. DG SFA MuzammilHussainHalipoto emphasized that indiscriminate action against those selling contaminated and unsafe milk will continue.
