In another tale of love defying borders, a Lahore based woman traveled to India from Wagah-Attari border to live with man, months after tying the knot online.

The woman named Mehvish Rehman traveled to India’s Rajasthan to be with her partner, leaving behind her two young children. She married Rehman, a resident of Rajasthan after meeting through Facebook.

In Pakistan, Mehvish was married until 2018 when she parted ways with first husband. She then met Rehman, a transporter working in Kuwait, and they got engaged on March 13, 2022.

The women then married Rehman in an online ceremony and held a formal ceremony in Saudi Arabia last year.

In July, she entered India on tourist visa, and was welcomed by Rehman and his family.

The bizarre love story not only garnered unwanted response from people but also alarmed Indian officials who currently investigating her. As per media reports, Indian police questioned her and verified her travel document.
