RAWALPINDI – Four terrorists were killed in an intelligence base operation in the Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
A statement issued by the military’s media wing said four insurgents were killed in a joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in KP.
Armed forces personnel and militants exchanged gunfire, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists from the group “Fitna Al Khawarij.”
Army said these insurgents were implicated in various terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces, abductions, and the targeted killings of civilians. Forces also recovered weapons and ammunition were seized from the site.
A sanitization operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining militants, the ISPR stated.
