New Petrol, Diesel Prices in Pakistan from August 1

Petrol price in Pakistan for August 2024 – A slight relief for inflation-hit Pakistanis as the federal government cuts down petrol and diesel prices for next two weeks.

Fuel prices go down by Rs6.17 and Rs10 per liter as global oil prices are hovering around six weeks low.

The international prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) moved down to $87.50 and $94 per barrel, lately. The import premium for petrol dropped to $8.80, and for HSD to $5 per barrel.

Despite stable exchange rates, Pakistan government increased petroleum levy limit to Rs70 per liter.

The government will revise the petrol prices on July 31 and new prices will come into effect from August 1.
