ISLAMABAD – Quetta and several other regions in Balochistan have been jolted by strong earthquake tremors on Wednesday.
The powerful seismic activity hit the region in evening today while the intensity was recorded at 4.2 on the Richter scale, as per the National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
The epicenter of quake was 24km away from Turbat and its depth was 35kilometres. There was no damage or loss of life reported due to the tremors. Residents of Quetta and other cities were reported to have come out of their homes and offices.
