LAHORE – Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala declared result of first annual examinations of class 9 or Secondary School Certificate on August 9, 2024.
Board officials declared both Science and General Groups’ results.
As per the official Gazette, a total of 189,150 students appeared for the exam, with an overall pass percentage of 48.60pc. Ratio of male students who passed the exam is 41.64% (30,287 out of 72,738), while females performed better with a pass percentage of 62.20% (45,667 out of 73,415).
In total, the percentage remains at 51.97% for regular students. In the private category, males had a lower passing rate while females again outperformed with a pass percentage of 44.95pc.
For Science Group, the overall pass percentage was 43.85pc. Regular male students had a pass percentage of 25.09pc, whereas regular females had a pass percentage of 55.01% leading to a total pass percentage of 47.66% for regular students in this group.
Among private students, males had passing percentage of 20.59pc, and females had passing percentage of 45.79%, resulting in total pass percentage of 35.72pc for private students in the Science Group.
