Provincial Ombudsman Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput emphasized the pivotal role university students can play in raising awareness about the functions of the Ombudsman institution within their academic communities.

During a meeting with ten selected brand ambassadors from Hamdard University, Dr. Rajput highlighted the significance of students using social media to inform peers about the Ombudsman’s role and address corruption issues.

In the meeting, Dr. Rajput explained that social media serves as an excellent platform for disseminating information about state institutions and tackling corruption caused by a few bad actors. He noted that university ambassadors will bridge the gap between the Ombudsman’s office and the public, facilitating problem-solving efforts. Congratulating the newly elected ambassadors, Dr. Rajput urged them to act as responsible citizens, advocating for societal well-being. The meeting was also attended by Secretary Ombudsman Dr. Mansoor Abbas Rizvi, Registrar MasoodIshrat, Advisor RehanaMemon, and AkmalNaseem.
