The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has taken decisive action against illegal constructions in District East. The operation targeted properties at Plot No. 48 and 49, Block 3, Bahadurabad, where unauthorized construction activities were ongoing. The SBCA successfully demolished the illegal structures, which included unauthorized third-floor constructions.
The demolition was carried out in coordination with the New Town Police, who arrested individuals interfering with the operation and resisting the demolition efforts. In response to the incident, the Director General of the SBCA, Abdul RasheedSolangi, emphasized that the authority is committed to preventing illegal constructions and ensuring transparent demolition processes. “No one will be permitted to undertake illegal constructions,” said Solangi, underscoring the SBCA’s zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorized building activities.
