ISLAMABAD  – Pakistan decided to take strict legal action against Noor Wali Mehsud, the leader of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the sources said on Saturday.

On Friday,  an alleged audio leak of TTP leader Noor Wali Mehsud, who is in hiding in Afghanistan, surfaced in which he was giving instructions for terrorism in Pakistan.

In the secret call recording, Noor Wali Mehsud asked Ahmed Hussain to blow up hospitals, government properties and schools.

The sources said that the relevant authorities decided to conduct a forensic analysis of the secret audio leak of Noor Wali Mehsud and Ghat Haji.

After the forensic report, strict legal action would be taken against Noor Wali and Ghat Haji both inside and outside the country.

The sources said that a protest would also be lodged with the interim Afghan government regarding Noor Wali Mehsud’s presence in Afghanistan and his direct involvement in terrorism in Pakistan.

The sources said that the Afghan Taliban would be asked to hand over the terrorists who are continuously committing terrorism and serious crimes against Pakistan.
