LAHORE – The Lahore Zoo’s lush gardens and historic architecture make it a cherished cultural landmark in the Punjab capital, attracting tourists and locals alike.

It is situated at prime area on the Mall, Lahore adjacent to Lawrence Garden spreading overall area of 25 acres. It was established in 1872. It remained under control with various organizations / department i.e. Lahore Municipal Corporation, District Administration, Lahore, Livestock and Dairy Development department before its transfer to Punjab Wildlife department in 1982.

Hundreds of people visit the Lahore Zoo on daily basis. It is required to buy the ticket to get entry into the zoo, which is a vibrant sanctuary for diverse wildlife.

It houses Marsh Crocodiles, Chimpanzee, Black Buck, Black Beer, snakes, lions and several other animals.

Lahore Zoo Latest Entry Fee from July 2024

The ticket price for adult stands at Rs40 each while the price of ticket for child is Rs20. The entry ticket prices would remain same in next month July 2024.

Car: Rs40/- each

Motorcycle / Rickshaw: Rs20/- each

Mini Bus: Rs100/-each

The Lahore Zoon opens at 9 am and closes when there is sunset.
