Resolution backing OZI submitted in Punjab Assembly

A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly in support of the Operation Azm-e-Istehkam.

The resolution, moved by PML-N lawmaker Hina Pervaiz Butt Monday, states that this House welcomes Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval to the Operation Azm-e-Istehkam.

It holds out assurances about the provincial assembly’s complete cooperation to the operation.

The resolution adds that the provincial legislature assures the Pakistan military, police and security agencies of its full cooperation, emphasising the need for the federal and provincial governments to unite on this one-point agenda.
