Five of a family injured in car-truck collision

Five members of a family including women were injured in collision between over speeding car and a truck here on Sunday, rescue sources said.

According to details, a car carrying a family got out of control due to over speeding and rammed into a hay laden truck near Chaudhry Stop at Lahore road in Sheikhupura.

As a result of collision, five people including ShaukatMasih 55, IrshadBibi 50, NiamatMasih 62, NasreenBibi 62, and 8-year-old Andlia were seriously injured.

The rescue teams reached the scene of accident and shifted the injured to hospital for treatment. The police impounded both vehicles and after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
