LAHORE – .Singer Muhammad Ashraf, known as Malko, has challenged placement of his name at the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL) in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
The petition on behalf of singer Muhammad Ashraf, alias Malooko, was filed by Advocate Azhar Siddique, naming the federal government and the Director General of Passports among others as respondents.
In plea, it is argued that from June 19 to July, Malooko had scheduled performances abroad, but his name was unlawfully included in the PNIL list.
The petitioner asked the court to immediately order the removal of renowned singer Muhammad Ashraf, alias Malooko, from the PNIL list.
