On the direction of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Karachi Water Sewerage Corporation (KWSC) Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, the Water Corporation administration completed all the arrangements regarding Eid-Ul-Adha.
According to the spokesman of the KWSC, effective measures have been taken for water supply and sewerage throughout the city, especially around Eid Gatherings, Mosques, Imambargahs and schools. On this occasion, the CEO of KWSC said that the officers and employees of KWSC will perform their duties despite Eid holidays and all Executive Engineers with their subordinate staff and machinery are on high alert to deal with any emergency and facilitate the citizens.
He said that the water tankers are being provided free of charge in all Eid Gatherings, Mosques and Imambargahs and Government Hydrants are being provided in SIUT, Abbasi Shaheed, Karachi Heart Disease and Sindh Government Hospital as per their requirements, apart from this, the Water Corporation Management is fully cooperating with the District Administration, Elected Public Representatives, Sindh Solid Waste Management and DMCs, and in this regard, Incharge Hydrants Cell Elahi Baksh Bhutto is in full contact with all the departments and Focal Person for Hydrants Cell Shahbaz Bashir is personally supervising all arrangements of Hydrants Cell, He further said that the providing better supply and sewerage facilities to the citizens is one of our top priorities.
