In the light of the orders of Chief Minister Punjab and IG Punjab, Attock police conducted successive operations against drug smugglers, drug smuggling attempt failed in Punjab from KPK, large consignment of drugs was recovered. More than 33 kg of hashish was recovered from the secret compartments of the car of the inter-provincial drug smuggler Waqar Afridi son of Fakhr Alam Sukna of Khyber district.

According to the details, in the light of the orders of Chief Minister Punjab and IG Punjab, on the special instructions of District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan, strict checking is going on at the entry and exit points of the district.
Inspector Khanzada Shahruz Khan and his team stopped the car number AVD-125 coming from Peshawar at Search Park Picket Attock Khurd, which was driven by Waqar Afridi son of Fakhr Alam Sukna Landi Kotal District Khyber, knowing the vehicle to be suspicious. 33 kg 600 grams of hashish was recovered from the secret compartments of the vehicle, which was to be supplied by drug smuggler Waqar Afridi to different districts of Punjab province.
On the occasion, District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghiyas Gul Khan said that the Attock Police is determined to save the young generation from destruction.
