LAHORE – Punjab Minister for Information and Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Azma Bukhari said that inflation in the country dropped from 37% to 11% over the past five months.

Azma Bukhari mentioned that recent reports from Bloomberg, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank are a testament to the performance of the PML-N government.

The minister said that Bloomberg noted that, surprisingly, Pakistan is the only country in Asia where inflation has reached its lowest level in five months.

She said that the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank also praised the government’s economic policies.

According to Bloomberg, for the first time in nine years, there has been a significant decrease in the prices of flour, oil, vegetables, and petrol. All this was made possible by the help of Allah and the leadership quality of Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Azma Bukhari stated that the continuous efforts of Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz have borne fruit, as they are working hard to get the country back on track.

She mentioned that the agenda of their leadership is to restore the economy, eliminate unemployment and inflation, and attract investment. In contrast, the disruptive group’s agenda is to spread chaos in the country and propagate against institutions.

Criticizing PTI founder Imran Khan, Uzma Bukhari said that the person who claimed he would not give anyone an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) is now knocking on every door for an NRO himself. The leader of the disruptive group is on a mission to get himself and his wife out of jail, and their anti-Pakistan campaign’s only agenda is an “NRO”, she added.
