Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has pledged to establish a large hospital in Hyderabad, acknowledging the city’s substantial tax contributions and the need for improved facilities. He made this announcement while addressing a ceremony where financial assistance was distributed to the families of the victims of the Pretabad tragedy. The Governor expressed his condolences to the families of the 18 victims who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
He also announced plans to launch an IT course in Hyderabad, which will be certified by the University of Karachi. The program aims to enable young individuals to earn a monthly income online. Tessori also announced that the Sindh government will establish an inquiry commission to investigate the Pretabad tragedy and hold those responsible accountable. He emphasized the need for strict action against substandard cylinders and LPG sellers, citing the importance of public safety.
