In a surprise move, Provincial Minister for Public Health Malik Pakhtun Yar Khan conducted a sudden raid on the Public Health Office in Mardan, igniting a flurry of activity among officials. Expressing his dissatisfaction with the department’s performance, Minister Khan took decisive action, suspending four officials, including the Superintendent Engineering, for their absence.
During the impromptu inspection, Minister Khan also expressed frustration over the non-utilization of laboratory testing vehicles, emphasizing the importance of their use in the provision of essential services. Addressing the gathered employees, he underscored the government’s commitment to serve the people, stating that negligence in duty would not be tolerated.
Later, at the Mardan Press Club, Minister Khan, accompanied by Provincial Food Minister Zahir Shah Toru and MPA Tariq Aryani, reiterated the government’s stance on securing the province’s rights. He highlighted the financial challenges facing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and called upon the federal government to fulfill its obligations by providing the necessary loans.
Minister Khan also emphasized the efforts of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in advocating for the province’s rights, asserting that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had placed their trust in the PTI government. Despite obstacles such as electricity load shedding and financial constraints, Minister Khan assured the public of the government’s dedication to fulfilling its promises and maintaining their trust.
The surprise raid and subsequent actions underscored the government’s commitment to accountability.
