A special PIA chartered flight brought back 171 Pakistani students from Kyrgyzstan to Karachi today. The flight landed at Jinnah International Airport on Saturday, where Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Energy Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Government Spokesperson Ganhor Khan Isran, and Deputy Mayor Salman Murad warmly welcomed the students. Addressing the media, Sharjeel Inam Memon expressed his happiness, saying, “We are delighted that our students have safely returned to their homeland and their loved ones.
The Sindh government has ensured their safe return. “Memon elaborated that the students had experienced significant trauma due to the riots in Kyrgyzstan. “This special flight has brought back students not only from Karachi but from all over Pakistan, facilitated by the Sindh government’s arrangement with PIA.
“He highlighted that when the unrest in Kyrgyzstan began, President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari promptly directed the safe return of Pakistani students. Following their instructions, the Sindh government arranged chartered flights to bring the students back. Minister Nasir Hussain Shah also spoke, stating, “The leadership of the Pakistan People’s Party fully understands the distress of the parents whose children were stranded. The Sindh government will ensure medical treatment for any injured students. “On the occasion, students and their parents expressed their gratitude to the Sindh government for ensuring their safe return.
