ISLAMABAD – National Highway Authority (NHA) has increased toll tax rates on National highways and Motorway for another time, adding more burden on inflation-weary people.
A notification shared by NHA said the new taxes applied on M1 Islamabad-Peshawar, M3 Lahore-Abdul Hakim, M4 Pindi Bhattian- Faisalabad Multan, Motorway M5 Multan – Sukkur, M14 DI Khan, E35 Hussainabad- Hasan Abdal – Havelian – Mansehra- Expressway.
The came tax will come into effect on July 1 2024 and will remain imposed until further announcement. According to revised rates, the rate of car toll has been increased by Rs30 to Rs40 for national highway while that of the wagon has been increased to Rs70.
